My Journey from Driver to Safety Officer at Legacy Staffing
Meet Alan Pacheco, a dedicated team member at Legacy Group Staffing who has grown with the company from his first role as a driver to his current position as a safety officer. With each step of his journey, Alan has embraced new challenges, found opportunities for growth, and built lasting connections with his colleagues. In this interview, Alan shares what makes Legacy Group Staffing more than just a workplace, from the strong support network to the sense of family that he describes as “ohana.”
Q: What has your experience been like as a Safety Officer at Legacy Group Staffing?
A: My role as a safety officer is made easy by the support staff we have. From our drivers to the HR team and managers, everyone plays a part. Without their support, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Q: Can you share what you appreciate most about working here?
A: What I appreciate the most is the growth within the company. I started as a driver, then moved up to dispatcher, then night supervisor, and now I’m a safety officer. The flexibility here has always been a bonus too.
Q: How have you contributed to the company’s growth and success?
A: I always try to bring ideas to the table that can benefit the team as a whole. I focus on systems and programs that simplify our tasks, make us more efficient, and save time. The team here always pushes me to do my best in everything I do.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Legacy Group Staffing?
A: Honestly, it’s the people. The staff I work with makes it hard to leave. The teamwork that goes into our daily routines and the friendships we build along the way—those are things that are hard to find. For me, Legacy Group isn’t just a job; it’s a family bond with true family ties. The best word to describe it is ohana.
